COVID-19 Guidelines July 2021 & Beyond

Plan B and Events at The Railway Inn

We’re sure you’re now all aware that the government has brought Plan B into fruition. It’s quite hard to guess how this will affect events at the Railway Inn over the coming months until the guidelines are released and distributed. However, we’re going to do our utmost to ensure your experience at shows is still as safe and as enjoyable as ever!

Attending shows that run past 0100 :The legislation states that from Wednesday 15th December you will have to present proof of vaccine or testing at the door to gain entry to these shows. We will be providing extra staff to ensure this is done quickly and painlessly! Due to the nature of our business it is highly likely that on these days we will have to ask for certification from 1700 onwards.

Although this legislation comes into place from Wednesday, we are starting tonight with Apocalypse clubnight, as it’s a great opportunity for a dry-run of things to come.

Attending shows with earlier finishes

We will still be enforcing the new guidance regarding mask wearing etc. The main venue has a UVC air scrubber that cleans pathogens from the air in real-time and we will continue to provide masks, sanitiser and other PPE when required. In addition we will reduce the capacity of shows with likely high-attendance of vulnerable individuals. The community remains the most important part of our week. Should you have any questions please contact the owner, who is happy to field any enquiries regarding show entry, at Any other enquiries can be sent to
