Good Weather For An Airstrike
Good Weather For An Airstrike was initially conceived at the beginning of 2009 to help Tom Honey alleviate the issues caused by suffering from tinnitus, which causes a ringing sensation in the ear and can often result in difficulty sleeping. The idea was to create a collection of relaxing sounds which would help induce sleep.
Minus Pilots is percussionist Matt Pittori and bassist Adam Barringer. Touching the realms of modern classical, cinematic, post-rock, ambient and post-jazz, they weave sparse textures, crumbling atmospheres and fractured drones. Minus Pilots have performed in Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Dublin, London, Milan and Paris.
Slow Clinic began following a sleepless night and a sunrise walk around Cardiff Bay. The field recordings gathered during this walk provided the foundations of the first Slow Clinic self-release, ‘First Works’. Slow Clinic is an experimentation with sound and surrounding environments.
