Driven by the forces of nature and the masterpieces they portray, Art Rock band ChaWk present nothing less than the extraordinary in their display of sound and energy. Using art and nature as a source of lyrical inspiration, they captivate their audiences through Radiohead type atmospheric textures mixed with jazz harmonies and grooves hailing from the drum legends Steve Gadd and Dave Weckl. Not to mention the strong but chilling vocals that can be compared to the likes of Florence Welch and Kate Bush. In 2017, they released their debut EP “Starry Eyed Girl” and since then have gone on to headline local festivals in the south of the UK, broken into the London circuit and been played on local radio stations. Over the coming months, ChaWk aim to release a new lockdown EP and are in the process of planning a UK tour for 2021. ♫♪♪

Also serving the fresh musical entertainment on the night will be:

The Lantern Parade “Feeling like they needed a little more light in their lives, The Lantern Parade formed in 2017, a disparate bunch but determined to deliver the goods. Tales of love and loss are beautifully told, moving seamlessly between anything from alternative pop to raucous blues and back to sweeping ballads that end with epic climaxes. And then they play a dance number. You couldn’t confuse them with anyone else.” ♫♪♪

Fast Trains is the award-winning solo project from Portsmouth based songwriter and producer Tom Wells. Combining inventive alternative pop with a cryptic visual space known as ‘ourWorld’, the project has received backing from BBC Introducing, BBC 6 Music and Amazing Radio, and its videos have been shown at film festivals all over the world. Tom brings his live band to The Railway for the first time, ahead of tour dates and festivals throughout 2022. ♫♪♪

Blacksmith are a 5-piece band based in Winchester playing British electric folk rock in the style of Fairport Convention and Steeleye Span.  Their debut album, “A Genuine Forgery”, will be released at the end of November. ♫♪♪
