The Bandwagon are one of Hampshire’s best popular covers bands, playing a range of big well known pop and rock songs from across 4 decades. These guys offer an abundance of high-energy entertainment – perfect for any crowd looking to fill their evening with drinking and dancing & singing along!

The 6 original music acts are all representative of superb local talent who have performed at Roots Open Mic Night over the last year and are breaking out, playing more gigs and releasing their music across streaming platforms.  We’ll drop details for each of these acts in the coming weeks – so keep your eyes on our socials to see who’s on the line up! And even if some of the acts are not your cup of tea, we’ve got you covered, because Platform 2 will be our disco room on the night, so you can just dance the night away to familiar tunes if you’d prefer! All of this for just £5!

This is a charity fundraiser party and the money we raise will be supporting 2 fantastic charity organisations – Music Venue Trust (MVT) and Hammersley Homes. Hammersley Homes’ mission is to provide permanent support for adults who live with enduring mental health challenges and struggle with daily life.Music Venue Trust acts to protect, secure and improve Grassroots Music Venues. These venues have played a crucial role in the development of British music over the last 40 years, nurturing local talent, providing a platform for artists to build their careers and develop their music and their performance skills.

That’s 2 good reasons to make sure that your plan for New Year’s Eve 2023 is to be at The Railway Inn for the Rootsenanny Charity Fundraiser Party! Add to that the 6 fantastic original music acts, a DJ / Disco room, and an hour of live party music from The Bandwagon, you can be confident that it will be £5 well spent!
