GOOD WEATHER FOR AN AIRSTRIKE + RIIGS
The Good Weather for an Airstrike project was initially conceived at the beginning of 2009 by Winchester, UK-based Tom Honey. Since those humble beginnings, GWFAA’s music has been streamed over 30 million times on Spotify as well as being featured regularly on BBC Introducing.
GWFAA is also a featured artist on the sleep, meditation and relaxation app ‘Calm’ (Apple’s App of the year 2018 + Google Play Editors Choice 2018) and has been featured on New York Magazine and Nowness.
GWFAA’s work draws on all of his musical influences and presents itself as a rich tapestry of lulling drones that hints at a diluted form of post-rock. ♫♪♪
