Ground Control is an Italian psychedelic-rock band. It was born in a bar of the city centre at about 7pm on the 10th of January 2017, exactly 1 year after David Bowie’s death. This is where the name “Ground Control” comes from, as a tribute. It also sets the starting point for the music: experimenting with Bowie’s songs, often rearranging them to the extreme with stoner and metal sounds. Ground Control performs all classic Bowie’s songs in order to bring a suggestive and theatrical show.
