Lucy Wroe

London’s most luminous rising songwriter Lucy Wroe strikes again this year, making moves deeper into the art-pop world with a batch of new singles. A year after the release of Same World, Better was born. A single that became the onion of pop songs due to its bouncy, catchy appearance and more serious sentiment beneath. Better kickstarted a journey into a more unique form of pop, and inspired an adventurous form of creativity, leading to performing two shows in Germany in March 2023, and a slot at Carfest the same year.

Following in the footsteps of some of the strongest female composers in modern pop, Lucy takes inspiration from Charli XCX, Caroline Polachek and Japanese Breakfast to name a few. With a combination of intricate grooves, snappy melodies and sumptuous harmony,Lucy will breeze us all through 2024. WAVES was just the first step up into a new and undeniably powerful new era. ♫♪♪
