The Parlours

The Parlours are a four piece band from the south coast, who met at school and haven’t gotten round to splitting up just yet.

Taking influence from bands such as Sports Team, The Smiths, and Fontaines D.C., they combine the intricate guitar riffs of modern alt-rock with driving vocal melodies that swing from post-punk grit to classic indie rock ballads.

With tracks discussing friendship, getting old, fear of responsibility, and 2008/09 Wayne Rooney, their distinct sound that they can’t quite explain themselves makes them impossible to pin down. ♫♪♪

Supporting them will be

Jot Sloppy

Jot Sloppy originally formed as a duo comprising of Joe and Robby but we have recently expanded -taking on George and Bennett on drums and bass respectively.

Featuring on BBC introducing and Sofar Sounds; 2023 has been a busy year for the boys playing 20 shows all over the south, supporting acts as diverse as Marseille, Charlotte Carpenter and The Rattlebacks. We’ve built on our original sound which forged intelligent lyrics and word play with dreamy riffs and catchy choruses, adding eclectic drums and steady basslines and harmonies. ♫♪♪

Desire Path

Desire Path are a modern alternative/shoegaze band based in Southampton defining their sound with immersive synthesiser sounds while keeping the pace with punk rock driven drums and surf rock guitars. ♫♪♪

ArKadia

Arkadia are a 4-piece rock/metal outfit from Kent, UK. Formed in the Autumn of 2023, they aim to entertain with high gain.

Comprised of vocalist Lewis Monticelli, guitarist Adam ‘Bach’ Elmakbachi, bassist Jack Gibson and drummer Tommy Pearce, the sound they forge is the fusion of many different genre influences ranging from the likes of metal, rock, jazz and world music. Technical, tonally complex verses are contrasted with huge melodic choruses, creating constant tension and release whilst enabling the listener to singalong to catchy melodies.

The band made their official live debut in the Fiddler’s Elbow, Camden, this year and are set to bring their new and authentic sound to as many ears as possible, utilising their repertoire of original live music which will be recorded throughout the coming year and beyond.
